Anyone install COREtec blended cocoon floors recently?

We’re considering buying this floor for our new home. We have a big family and my dad’s in a wheelchair. Should we do these floors or real hardwood? Really only considering vinyl because we’ll have a pool and people going in and out of the house wet. Any feed back would be great. Thanks

I'm looking at this option as well. Did you install? How does it look?

@stewlou19 @Janell Johnson Did either of you install the blended cocoon? I've been pondering it and looking for real examples also. No luck seeing any yet, but curious to know what you chose and how it turned out. Any pics?

Oh, and Stew, I've heard that floating lvp isn't good with wheelchairs. I believe you can still use lvp, but the glue-down style is recommended. Maybe an expert can chime in on that.

We have purchased but have not yet installed.  Probably won't install for a few months.  Thanks @Jenlsh for the tip about the wheelchair.  We'll need to figure that out!

@jenlsh @stewlou19 we ordered ours as well but haven't installed yet. Can't wait.

@jenlsh @stewlou19 @Janell Johnson Did you install the Blended Cocoon? Any pics? I'm looking at this or the Coretec pro roswell hickory.

Hopefully installing in a few weeks!

    Hi Lauren,

We ordered the Blended Cocoon back in May, but it's on backorder. Coretec estimated that it would be back in stock early August, so we have a tentative install scheduled for late August.

The sample I have of Blended Cocoon is beautiful! I wish you all the best with your projects and hope you will share pictures. We are considering this for our new build.

Happy to share when it's installed. It was just delivered but won't be installed until early October.

Not the best pic but it's installed and we love it!

@stewlou19 looks great!! thanks so much for sharing. I would love to see more pics if you have them? Was it hard to work with the pattern repeats since there are only 8 boards? I think yours turned out beautiful!

Unfortunately most of the floor is covered so not really good shots but hopefully you can get an idea.  Thank you for the kind words.  As for the pattern repeat, we didn't even bother thinking of it and just handed the flooring to our flooring guys and they just went to work.  We're happy with the way it turned out!   Best of luck with your projects!

Did you do stairs with it. I am wondering what the stairs look like.

@JulieShub we couldn't use the Blended Cocoon on our stairs because our stairs are wider than what the planks come in and we didn't want a seam. Instead we used White Oak stair treads and our painter bleached them and worked his magic to match it as close as possible to the LVT. Not an exact color match but we're happy with it!

    @stewlou19 @Janell Johnson

Thank you for sharing pictures. I'm also thinking about putting Coretec Blended Cocoon in my home but worried they look too "bleached". Your pictures look more "bleached" than the official product picture, which has more yellow tone in it. The sample I received is very unrealistically bleached too, just wondering if you find blended cocoon very unnaturally white? Lastly, anyone knows a good place to order just one carton with cheaper shipping fee? Thank you!
