Agalinis heterophylla, Orobanchaceae, formerly Scrophulariaceae. True Foxglove, Digitalis is now in Plantaginaceae. Agalinis is hemiparasitic. 2 other Agalinis species occur in the DFW area, A strictifolia and A. edwardsiana. They both have longer pedicels than A. heterophylla.

Are there any plants that your 2 Agalinis species prefer to grow in association with, way down there in Texas, Mara?

One seems to grow in grass and the other grows in grass but closer to cedars. They did not do well this year at all. None in the field.
