Ignore my last discussion post because that same plant is now 4. Let me explain what happened and why I need advice.

Via my last post, my monstera needed repotted so I cut the nursery pot off because it was extremely root bound. I got it into the new pot only to discover it wasnt draining at the bottom because there wasn't enough holes and the holes were too small! So at this point I have my monstera in a new pot with partially new soil and its all wet and watered. I didn't have another pot big enough to put it in so I was convinced I was just going to have to throw it away...but I am very stubborn and did not want to do that and before you ask why didn't I drill more holes in the new pot, the drill bit wouldn't push through so that failed so here was my bright idea: I took out the monstera and the wet soil and I seperated the monstera and tried to do the least damage possible to the roots and now I have 4. The roots were pretty much free of dirt before i put them in their new homes but anyway I put them in their pots but I put the same wet soil in the new pots and did not water them again after splitting them up. 2 of these monsteras I split up have new leaves coming in, and I did fertilize them for the first time in 2 months today. Did I do the right thing by using the wet soil and not watering it? Did I set my plants up for failure? What should I expect next? I am nervous for what the future holds because I really do love this monstera. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
