Hi! The couch looks amazing. It just does not seem to be centered to anything. Try centering and also take a picture form the side to see the space from front, side, and back angles. You can make it work, for sure!

I understand what you are saying, you could make it work but if you don't like it then..

So post pictures of all 4 sides of the room and the room dimensions.

I would start with a larger rug, and trying turning the one you have, its making the room look long. changing the ceiling fan, I would also move the couch forward.

I would probably go with a gray sofa.

Thank you! I do love the couch. i thinkni am still going to return and get the tan in the little larger Sven with the chaise. We have 2 daughters, so the one couch just does not work.

I agree, larger rug (maybe something darker to bring in some colour, we had chocolate brown couch before so that us why everything is so light)

I am on the hunt for black spindal chairs and sand our table.

was thinking darker rug and darker pillows. But i am open to whatever suggestions people have to chnage anything! lol

love those options with the grey couch

i was thinking if i keep the tan couch with the chaise and add this type of rug and changed that with the table and chairs, would it work or too much?

I don't think getting a chaise section is a good idea. It gives you even less seating for day to day living and I don't think you have the space for it.

The room is 20 ft long and 14 feet wide that helps. there are kot things in thai room right now as our basement is getting finished

they have gray leather, and or you can get the couch treated for spills. these pictures just worked at the time.

Overstock has a similar and in my opinion better version. It may be out of stock now, but does come in grey. We have the grey sofa and love seat. Costco has the same side and loveseat too, but that also appears to be out of stock. Costcos was the same sofa as Overstock, but under a different brand. I think the problem with brown or tan, is all the brown and tan in the general space already, the floor the cabinets the tabletop the doors etc, grey will pull out the color in the FP... brown will compete with the room.

also, have you thought to use the window seat as part of the breakfast nook, and only add 2 chairs?

for now try turning the rug you have and center the sofa to the room, pull it forward toward the FP
