I suggest that you prop it up with some stones, also, soil looks WET. I would suggest that you really refrain from watering for a while now in mid Winter. In the Spring, I would transplant to a less peaty mix, soil looks heavy.

If that pot has no holes, it will need to be repotted at some point into a pot with holes. Also a cactus and succulent mix would be an improvement because whatever mix it is in now looks dark like it's holding a great deal of water.

This is a plant you can easily LOVE TO DEATH, and YES, if it has no drainage holes, it needs to be repotted sooner rather than later. Agree with Socks, mix looks too heavy and moist for an Aloe vera..., remember, they are native to Saudi Arabia.

While it is best to repot in sprig if the plant is suffering, it should be repotted asap. Any succulent would only benefit from potting mix that drains well. If nothing else, mix your soil with 60-75% of sifted perlite to get better drainage. And ge the pot with drainage hoe(s). And yes to decrease watering during winter.

Upon closer inspection, I think you're right, something else/additional going on in the genetics of that plant. Does not alter any of the suggestions made above though.

Matt, you're right - something in the haworthiopsis/tulista area, not aloe in my opinion. Needs a lot more light.

Agree with the suggestions as well. Get it into a more appropriate substrate asap and give it more light any way you can.
