Love that last one - but the chandelier we have in there is chrome. So I was thinking more chrome. If we did that with the console - what would u suggest to do with the planters/holders next to the steps?

I'd look for black or chrome metal legs, or dark wood legs with a glass top for the narrow console table. I'm not sure you'll get enough light or have enough space for planters next to the steps. Maybe consider a beautiful, wide, runner in the open space between the two side rooms leading to the steps instead.

Hmm that’s an interesting idea! We were thinking realistic looking artificial plants - and tall thin planters. Kinda fell In love with that idea - but I realize it may not be feasible. But your idea is definitely something to think about! Also may help “warm up” the area
