Thank you, everyone. This is a group on FB and that's all we do.......one block a month and then we're given the layout, usually in December so it's basically a scrappy mystery. The patterns mostly come from Quilter's Cache. The newbies follow the directions (I rarely do), asking questions and they get lots of answers as we all do things differently, so they choose. They learn how to keep points, the various ways of making HSTs and how it's necessary for each component to have that extra 1/4" to get a good measurement at the end. Some are quite experienced, some are not, but there's usually always someone around to answer questions. It's a positive group, no quilt police allowed.....they are told upfront they'll get booted immediately. A lot of fun, lots of learning, and a lot of laughter.......I'm doing this year's in Christmas fabric. I think this is my 7th year........my scraps are down a tiny bit. lol

You did a great job of bringing everything together! Bet it feels good to clear out some space. We're going to have the family room painted where I have my sewing machine so we have been clearing it out and moving everything to a spare bedroom. I sure like sewing without the clutter. I think of lot will end up in the basement.
