It's a lovely home and will not be ever farmhouse. Paint the door black. Get larger pots for the door way and larger lights. Update the landscaping especially remove the tall skinny bush

You would have to also remove the dentil molding under the roof line, remove the shutters, and get new windows. But I agree with the previous poster. It's a lovely colonial and I think it's a mistake to try to get it to look like modern farmhouse. In 5-10 years the farmhouse trend will be over but your house will still look classic. Then people will be asking about how to get rid of all their black framed windows without a whole house replacement.
