Neither is very good. Both are unsafe and do not begin to comply with building codes. I suggest that you find a more skilled kitchen designer who is more familiar with duplicative zoned work centers.

Apreciate the feedback, ty! If we remove the pantry in design B and add a peninsula instead, which gives landing space besides the sink, would that comply?

No. There are way more issues than the lack of landing space next to that sink. Neither design shows any basic comprehension of cooking safety. You need a professional ASAP.

The first one is absolutely non-do-able. The cooktop placement against the oven wall is against building code. And the two sinks totally adjacent will allow cross-contamination between them if you are wanting to separate meat and dairy. The second one, while better, still needs improvement. Do not forget about an exhaust for the cooktop - indoor air quality is more and more important these days, and should not be overlooked.

If this is to be a kosher kitchen, there are kitchen designers who specialize in kosher kitchen design. Some of them will work with you remotely in these Covid times. You can google "kosher kitchen design" and find a number of names. There used to be a Houzz Kitchens Forum poster named @ellene613 who is a KD specializing in kosher kitchens, but she has not posted on here in many years. She has a Houzz page but the photos look older, though there are recent reviews on the page. You could try contacting her through Houzz if you are interested.

Thanks for the responses so far, much appreciated!
