what is 'dramatic' in your mind?

can doors be painted?

can the entry have wainscot or any millwork done to the walls?

can you get a new light?

are grays the only colors useable?

is that rug staying?

At the minimum, a new chandelier (can't even tell what you have) and some color on the doors or walls.

lights/rug, contrasting door

soft blue gray door color, gold light? boxer optional

You could consider doing some molding around the doors/windows, picture frame molding, wainscot, etc.

BTW, it would be so much better if the left door opened, because then you could do a little table and picture on that wall

PS,,,why is that door handle so darn low on the closet? maybe it's the pic, but it looks really low.

A beautiful chandelier that casts interesting shadows and decorative wall mirror on the lower foyer wall would bounce the light and add some sparkle.

Ha! No it’s a poor photographer. No gray isn’t the only color. I have gray and navy in my living/ dining area. Rug doesn’t have to stay. I would like the doors to stay white. The left side of the door has locks. They can’t be changed. This is a new construction. Limited on change options during build.

About the low door handle - those are tall doors - see the 4 hinges vs the usal 3 for standard doors….

This is ALL white, but it has a dramatic look because of all the millwork (wall molding) and trim work around the door and window. The light is gorgeous w/the dark floors.

I think you desperately need some type of trim molding in this entry way.

white doors are fine, but you need something else w/a bit of color. see photos.

these are all white, with trim molding (picture frame molding) . but lighting really helps, texture, some color w/art, a bench, narrow table.

Lantern chandelier.

this one is also all white. has nice door trim, sconces, a darker wall color, contrasting rug, wall mirror and a tall vase w/flowers for some color.

can you bring in pops of colors w/items like this?

you want dramatic you'll have to change things. bringing in a new light is fine, but it won't solve your issue.

what kind of chandelier would you like? Lets start w/that one.

There's a limit to how dramatic your entry can be when you come in facing a closet. Find a slim console for behind the door and hang some nice art over it, and get a rug that ties in and grounds the space. Chandelier with more height. Move on.

A big chandelier. Large rug. And If you want to get a cute boxer like that pic Beth posted of what I think is Reese Witherspoon’s foyer, you would get no judgement for me
