Help! which Cabinet line should we get??

My husband and I are doing a huge renovation of our forever home. We planned on using a family recommended kitchen designer. Multiple people in our family did their kitchens for about 20k for kraftmaid. After our meeting with the designer that price almost doubled. We were quoted at 37k. These kitchens were completed with in the last two years. I know that things have inflated significantly but that just is too much for us. We are looking for a middle of the road line. We have 3 kids and we want this kitchen built to last! Looking for some advice! Thanks :)

Sorry, I do not believe that. Something is missing from this story. What does the $37k include besides the cabinets? Labor, demolition? And what does your "multiple people in your family" $20k kitchens include? Also, are these frameless, or full overlay, or partial overlay cabinets? How tall are the uppers? Is there a hood surround added? Is there an island? While prices have increased dramatically since Covid, I have not seen a full Kraftmaid kitchen done for $20k in 20 years.

A 10x12 kitchen is not a 22x15 kitchen.

Kraftmaid also has about 25 doorstyles. Group 1 to Group 25...huge difference in prices! Also did dealer quote their standard construction? The Advantage series will add about $2000-$4000 depending on layout.

Just be upfront with your KD and tell them your budget....maybe they can find ways to cut corners and still make it amazing! I do this every day for my clients.
