Help! Tile placement around and under range hood

I have a dilemma on how to start and stop the backsplash under my range hood.

My kitchen is roughly similar to the one in this picture. Unlike this neighbor, I eliminated sidesplashes and ended backsplashes to be in alignment with upper cabinets. That said, the range hood in this pic is causing me a little anxiety. You can see the range hood is the focal point on the wall. Ceilings are 18 ft high and I have wooden beams. Given that I selected a white, marble, hexagonal tile, tiling the whole wall would have broken my budget. Plus it's a little too late to ask to tile the whole wall. Can you please advise how I should tile around the range hood?

Note: per the second pic, I have Brownstone Oak engineered wood floors (Mohawk TEC brand), white- (Sherwin Williams Snowbound - SW7004) and ebony-colored Shaker cabinets, white quartz countertops with marble veining and you see the marble backsplash tile. Thanks in advance for any advice!
