There's nothing wrong with a Phal with a single spike, your plant looks beautiful. No, I don't think it will grow another spike while that one is blooming. The only Phal I've been given with more than one bloom spike wasn't from a big box store. It also had a lot more leaves and roots, and they seemed healthier than the others. I can't go out to shop much anymore due to mobility issues, but I can't remember if I ever saw a Phalaenopsis in a store that had more than one spike.

Anyway, I hope you can just enjoy your beautiful plant as it is, and perhaps next time it will grow two spikes.

I use Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro on everything. However, if you're interested in reading about fertilizer, specifically orchid fertilizer I'd suggest this article (https://www.gardenmyths.com/orchid-fertilizer-myths/) as a starting point. You could also read any number of the threads/comments by Al (@tapla) on the Container Gardening forum here on Houzz.

You may want to consider repotting your orchid when it has finished blooming. A fresh potting medium would be a good place to start a different fertlizing regimen considering you've already added a couple MG fert sticks.

I would never put fertilizer sticks in any pot. Start looking through the discussions here and you will find thousands of posts that go pretty much like this, "I put fertilizer spikes in the pot of my plant and now it looks ill."
