I have an old storm cellar that i was thinking ab expanding and i was wanting to know the most safest way to do it on my own my idea was to knock out one wall expand it out with cement blocks and dig out lower so i dont run into ground level its maybe a foot if of headroom at the top and im 5’8 with that being said the on the ground the cellar sticks out ab 2 feet or a foot and ahalf now i wanted to expand it out to maybe 5 feet or more ill update this post with photos but its dark rn
