Could you take a photo from further back?

The rug looks really nice, but could be too small. It also doesn't look good with the folded blanket at the bottom of the bed.

I like the quilt and the rug, but not together. You need a solid color quilt if you're going to keep the rug, or visa versa. I don't know how old your daughter is, but does she have an opinion about it? A lot of times little girls are interested in how their room looks.

You do not need the multiple colors in that rug. Stay with a strong navy and white patterned rug to tie the dressers together — floral, geometric? You can add an accent color in the lampshade and/or the bedding. How big is the bedroom? Is that a queen bed? You probably need at least an 8x10 even if you turn it sideways.
