Thanks for your comment about our Port Ludlow project. The glass sliding door panels are 8-ft by 8- ft. When completely open, they create a seamless indoor-outdoor space. There are several problems with a Nano wall. First is the requirement that each door panel be about 3-4 feet wide. This creates a much busier appearance to the glass wall than the 8-ft sliders. Second is the fact that insect screening is very difficult with a Nano wall. Third is the fact that you can open a sliding door a small amount for ventilation, but that is not as easily done with a Nano wall.

Is there insect screening on these windows? I don't see it in the pic. and wondered how that would affect the view.

Can you do 8X8" to meet waterfront wind loads?

These doors likely have invisable screens http://www.houzz.com/pro/phantom-screens/phantom-screens We also offer a silant air curtain system for wide openings which alows the space to remain completely open and a streem of air flows acroiss the opening keeping the insects out and the cool air in.

Yes, you can get impact rated sliding & folding doors. We can provide up to 58" x 103" for a hurricane/impact rated sliding door panel. For non-hurricane/impact rated we can go up to 96" x 162" for a standard panel.
