Agree with Pudgeder; the space is altogether busy.

I am always left wondering what the upholstery looks like under the loose covers. The weird position of the armchair to the right is the only thing that really bothers me, just because I can't imagine two people sitting in that particular relationship to each other comfortably.

The standing lamp would be improved by the whimsical addition of a fishnet leg.

I could not be in that room two minutes without pulling the sofa/chair/tables arrangement apart to make the the right chair mirror the spacing of the chair on the on the left. It looks like the parlormaid was pushing furniture around whilst tidying up and forgot.

Wow is that a “busy room”. As my Mom would say: “ chocked full of dust collectors”.

I would love to know what is on the other side of the room. My first thought was that the chairs and sofa were all lined up so everyone could see the TV. But I see an arm of another chair or sofa facing the opposite.

Is that chair/table blocking the hounds from chasing around the room?

Someone who couldn't squeeze onto the sofa wanted faster access to the bar cart.
