The most overhang you can have without support is 9”. 30” is a table, and will need designing with a complete understructure of stretcher bars and supports and legs, exactly like a table.

And a table needs a chair, for the person to occupy, which means space for other people to walk around them. Which requires spacious aisles. This is the minimum work aisles. Add more space for someone sitting in your work aisles.

The Natural Stone Institute allows up to 10" with 3 cm stone. Engineered stone manufacturers allow up to 15" with 3cm.

You could have a custom steel support fabricated to avoid the legs, but that has to be engineered and installed before templating.

You don’t have room for any island at sll. And it shouldn't be the blockade that it is.

You throw some chairs around that island end and it's gonna get a little tight.

I had 36" clearance at each end of an "L" island and it was never a problem, but I didn't have seating either.

We love the chandelier, but I’m not sure if it’s too visually heavy. It’s definitely off-center and blocking the route to the back door - that’s where the builder put it. We’ve considered removing it and having recessed lights installed
