You are right, looks way too cold on my monitor with the other choices that you have made.

Did you look at Taj Mahal quartzite? I have heard it is pretty much bulletproof as far as staining, etc…

I would be very careful and do your homework (testing a sample) on any white colored quartzite slab you are looking at. Many times they are mislabeled and are really marble. I have seen a couple recent nightmare threads on here. One person was devastated because their beautiful “white quartzite” had turned an ugly brown in large random areas all over the countertops.

From you photo, Taj seems like it might look great with your cabinet color and whatever the wood is. Is that for the island? The F&B color although called light grey, sure doesn’t read grey to me. Especially not next to that cool grey in that quartzite slab.

@rebunky yes i keep seeing those threads and its definitely giving me pause!! ive been told by my fabricator that stones are commonly mislabeled as a sales tactic, which led me away from my first choice (super white)

I unfortunately am not the biggest fan of Taj Mahal for this purpose :( It reads a little busy to me or like a granite maybe.
