I think if you shop around you can get some reasonably priced white blinds. Then maybe a nice colorful rug for entryway area.

Can we see what is seen through those windows into the house . I like bright entry spaces co I would probably not cover them but I need to see what is on display through them and how they sit on the house.

Cafe curtains are not it, maybe something cleaner like blinds. I know there are many people here that do not like mini blinds but when youre on a budget, they are a way to go. Home depot and lowes have those super cheap MB, but if you want to spend a bit more you can get the sturdier and better looking 2” Wood look blinds. It depends on your style. If you want more minimalistic go with the blinds, more traditional you could look into curtains but it looks tight there for a rod. I think Patricia has a good idea, take a pic from outside in.BTW, it looks like a cute bungalo entryway.

Do you need privacy? What is your decor style? Can you show other angles of the entry? We can all throw decorating darts here, but need more info for the best suggestions. :)

IMO no mini blinds to hang all wrong all the time and we need some answers to our questions .

I’m just wondering if the entry is a separate space, or is it open to other areas? Reason being, if you don’t need immediate privacy, I’d wait to get moved in and decide later.

It’s just hard to suggest more without knowing your functional needs, your decorating style, etc.

I’m a huge fan of cafe curtains (as been mentioned above) and think they’d look charming in there.

With being so narrow, you’ll probably need custom (if in budget) and suggest a simple roller blind that works well with door.

Could treat as two windows as one, so only needing two blinds, which would be cheaper, perhaps not needing custom, or could do yourself/hire a seamstress.

Least expensive, easiest and flexible for privacy needs - whole or lower half cutting to suit. Try to complement glass in door.

down/up up/down shades are the bomb. privacy + let the sun in over the tops.

As it looks like your foyer is facing the street you may want some privacy. Sheared on cafes with rods on the top and bottom inside mounted would look nice just on the bottom half of the windows. You have enough depth . Keep the top uncovered. Having them on two rods gives them a more tailored look but I think these will look nice in this traditional space with your trim work and painted wood ceiling! Not a lot of $ but a good solution.
