Wisteria re-locate - zone 9b california

Hi,
I need to re-locate this wisteria to another spot due to some construction activity. Can you pls share your advice on do's and don'ts :)
I am in california bay area (9b) and the day time temp is 75 degrees now..is it a good time to dig now as the plant may be starting to wake up?
