Post pics of the space

Hi,I am interested in answers to this too, as I am in the planning stage for a garage with upper level workshop that will have the same sloped space issue on one wall. I think it will be storage shelving. Can you please post a floorplan and photos of your space?

In the 2nd photo, you can see a door. This is a closet that ends where the wall begins.

Built in benches with storage underneath, wall nooks/shelving on the center side, sconces. Will be great little reading books.

I would def do one like this for a nice lounge/reading nook.

A small refrigerator and microwave in one dormer. Shelves in the other. Mount a TV on the wall between the dormers and make it a game room.

See examples in the photos posted by ACM of what you are looking for. There are recessed bookshelves, recessed drawers, and small access doors. We lived in a Cape Cod that had a spacious storage space that was accessed by a small door, and built-in dressers. We never owned dressers until we moved from that house. The storage gets hot, though, since it’s right under the roof.

Thanks. We're definitely thinking about recessed bookshelves, drawers, etc. for the middle dormer but the sides spaces are so deep with only 1 wall. There's 4 feet in there as per my drawing. How best to utilize that space? Maybe a door on those?

We had doors similar to the photo you shared. We found the space was great for things stored in plastic storage bins. One thing to consider is debris that comes from the exposed rafters/insulation since that interior space is generally unfinished.
