I think brand differences are fine and pretty common, as long as color/style are consistent.

No biggie and less so as time moves on and shortages become the norm. Feel blessed to have anything at all these days, matched or not!

Perfectly fine and often preferable based on how each appliance fits your needs. You might find a fridge from one brand you like but not a dishwasher, stove, etc. Our kitchen appliances are all stainless steel but different brands. No problem at all.

I never match my appliances. I choose the appliance with the best reviews, that I like the best and meets my needs.

I don’t worry about matching brands. I’ve had kitchens many ways and I still will choose function first.

This topic is a frequently discussed concern and a search can turn up dozens of long and very detailed threads on your question. Much of the advice is what you've seen so far in this thread but there are also dissenting views, as well.

My appliances don't match and I did this deliberately since I selected the best appliance in that category.

I have a Bosch wall oven with a Sharp microwave drawer under it. They look fine - I mention those specifically since they are in next to each other.

I have all stainless steel appliances, but different brands. I researched and purchases my appliances based on their reviews and function. I have a GE fridge, LG dishwasher, and Samsung gas range. I am quite pleased with my selections; no issues with any!

Same… I have GE monogram range and fridge, Bosch dishwasher, Viking warming drawer, and wine fridge from some other line. Looks great.
