It will settle out in time, it’s not great for your lungs but you’re only getting this one exposure so you will be fine.

I think as mentioned it will all eventually settle where it can be all vacuumed as for danger to youI guess not great but it is a side effect of having this done on site just keep vacuuming and changing filters and hoepfully the bedrooms were sealed of and the doors now kept closed to minimize the dust at night. IMO the furnace filters are the most inportant ones to keep changing right now I assume the AC is not running at the moment.

You're not going to die of silicosis from a single exposure. Like asbestos, it's workers with repeated large-dose exposure that are at risk.
