My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

can umbrellas be closed?

love the suspended umbrellas and the lighting. Can the umbrellas be closed and if so, what happens to them

    The company that manufactures these are call shademaker. Not sure where you can purchase them as I obtain them directly

      Umbrellas can be closed.but they will dangle down. We leave them up all the time.but you have the option of removing them completely. They are super easy to take down and very light.So you do have an option.

      The lighting for the umbrellas...what is it and how is it hooked up please? Where do I purchase this lighting from? Love this!!

      The lighting is up-lighting coming from the planters. it is a low voltage system so it should be fairly easy to install and purchase from any store... even home depot would have an up-lighting system. The lights shine up and reflect off the bottom of the umbrellas and illuminate the areas. Hope this helps. Don Maldonado, Lead Designer @ Chicago Green Design inc.
