#1 & NOT 2 or 3. Both of those are a hard no for me.

You need to find a tile that blends with your wood floor or run the wood into the kitchen. You don’t need any more contrast. So none of those work.

I like tile in a kitchen too, but we are in the minority these days. :-) However, I have to agree with the two previous posters, none of what you have sampled so far is really right, although #1 is the closest. I think it's too light, however. Your cabinets and counter are dark, so while you don't want anything too dark, if you go too light it won't look right. Your wood floors are warm, so you need a warm color which is why 2 - 4 don't work. There are so many choices I'm sure you'll find something. I love the color of your floors by the way.

I have a different view than the others. I like for a countertop and tile flooring to look related, so I would choose the dark charcoal tile. The wood flooring is a neutral so you really don't have to worry as much about coordinating with that as you do with the counters.

Funny, I like #2 best! I think because it goes best with your cabinet and counters and looks the most like natural stone. I think 1 & 4 look dated and I really don't like the color tone of 3, especially next to your hardwood.

I also love terracotta tile with the sage and charcoal colors in your cabinet and counters if you might like that.
