Looks great. I'm not sure the mirror works. It is too similar in shape to the sofa. I actually did 2 mirrors vertically over my sofa. Pull the sofa off the wall a few inches. Bring the coffee closer to sofa, so it can used by someone sitting there. An oval would be better so the persons sitting on the ends of the sofa can reach it. Yes, you need some lamps. Maybe a floor lamp at the FP end of the sofa and a table and lamp at the other end.

I would add some side tables and lighting.

The overhead chandelier should be dimmed to candlelight levels. It's just for mood.

The space could use additional lighting How about wall sconces to light up your bookcases. I bet you can hide the cords.

The changes you made look great! Art is great and swapping the lighting was the biggest and best switch in my view. I agree lighting above the bookshelves would be great. In a antique brass finish. I really like the ones the previous person showed you or this style I also like. And if you don’t have electrical wires there easily I have seen soo many DIY discussions about using a battery operated light in library lights like those.

We might suggest replacing the mirror with some artwork and adding some side tables and lamps. Here are some of our designs which might give you a few more ideas.
