Just be awsre these are designed in Canada but made in China so be very sure about the warranty .There are NA made faucets that are very good and warrany issues are a lot easier.

We have Riobel rain showerhead/hand shower/tub combo and Riobel vanity faucet in our modest bathroom and I love them. It’s been 3 1/2 years so far no issues whatsoever.

Look at Moen, Speakman & California Faucets for the same.

from all possible shower sets? you have no opinions on style, functions, or anything else? impossible to even start a recommendation from that.

@acm the Riobel Riu shower kit is the style we're looking for. I'm really not sure how to determine a good quality shower kit with good water pressure and the various funcions that would be desirable. We've always had really basic old builder grade fixtures so any kind of help and insight would be welcomed. I would say budget is $1000-1500 give or take.

Brands I'm considering: Grohe, Hansgrohe, Kohler, Delta, Riobel and Rohl. Opinions on these options with regards to quality, warranty and ease of claim? Preference for top brands to look at among these options?

Hand Grohe’s warranty has impressed me. They really stand by the product. I like the Axor line especially.
