Copper fungicide spray for nectarine tree?

I have used Bonide concentrated liquid fungicide spray on my dwarf nectarine tree to help with peach leaf curl. I always sprayed during the dormant season before the buds opened. I also see this in the instructions:

Treating brown rot blossom blight apply full cover spray at delayed dormant (bud swell), popcorn, full bloom and petal fall stages.

Is it really OK to spray after the buds have opened and even on the blossoms themselves? It won't damage them or negatively affect fruit production? Will it affect the bees an any way? Thanks.
