Going for a nice medium/darkish brown. Would like them to be close to the floors I'm having installed. Please see photos. Anyone have any experience staining these types of doors? How do they affect the color of the stain? They are pretty cheapo hollow core. Not sure of the species, probably oak. Walls will be SW Agreeable Gray with SW Extra White trim. Black hardware. Stain color

recommendations welcome! Contractor uses Sherwin Williams (Miniwax) but can use others, just might be a little more.
