There are a few missing information. Doesnt look like that you considered the thickness of the granite slab in this 91 cms. On what support will the granite top rest.

How much is the overall floor space and do you have a floor plan and share the drawing of this unit overall.

Hi Gagandeep, Thanks for your reply.Its actually utility area where no kitchen work will be done.we are planning a sink with dishwasher on this counter. Can we access the sink with ease at this height.

If for the sink only it can be somehow managed but always recommended to keep standard height , may be you can plan for a raise in half of the counter . So the sink area will be at standard height of 34 inches and the dishwasher will be having high height .

In US, the standard height with dishwasher before the granite is 34.5" = 87.6 cm. So in your case with the skirting, it will be 90 cm (there is no need for 1 cm gap). One option will be to drill holes where the dishwasher legs will be sitting in the skirting to reduce the height. You may also want to consider eliminating the skirting, since the DW will be above the floor on its four legs and water should not be an issue. Even with your proposed height of 36" for sink, it is not going to be a major issue for using the sink.
