You probably are home by now. What rotary cutter did you decide on?

I had such a fun time at the quilt shop; I had not been there in over a year.

They had only one rotary cutter for sale. It was not an ergonomic style, so I passed it by.

But guess what?! I found my original cutter. I knew my sweet helpers had put everything from the craft table into a separate box when they were emptying the water-damaged sewing room.

Since all the boxes were piled in the middle of the basement it took me a while to find the right box, but today I did.

There it was, the 25+ (?) year old ergonomically-designed 45mm Fiskars rotary cutter!

I was so happy to find it.

I may still order a 60mm cutter before I start on the denim quilts, but this is a sweet little workhorse.

I may try a titanium replacement blade in it, especially since I now have the safety glove.

Also in the box was my staple puller. I’ve search high and low for it recently. I’ve had it since my active duty U.S. Air Force days. It was on all my desks.

These are just ”things,” but the memories associated with them are so precious to me.

This was a very good day in my quilting world.
