I am turning my entryway closet into a bench/ more open concept. It used to have bi-fold doors, which I did not like. I wanted to keep doors on each side to hide coats but want the middle to be open with a floating bench going all the way across.

My problem is I do not know how to build the wall/dividers to almost have the doors look like a cabinet so the coats cannot be seen. Any ideas? I've attached a photo with my drawing on top and a photo of what it looks like now.
