roller shade installation issue

after our HD roller shades were installed we have gaps on the top of the shade at the sides...installer thinks its because the top jamb is not level (he may need right). This lets light in and is a not a great look even at night. Any ideas on making this work?

I’ve seen hotels use curtain panels or some sort of L shaped attachment to the window area. Seems like every new improvement leads to new things to fix…

Shade cloth is never as wide as the rollers. The shades should have been hung outside mount to eliminate all gaps of light on the sides.

Such an easy fix. Take the roller shade down and tape a window seal foam strip on top of it. Tape it away from the inner edge. This will take care of the light on the top.
