We are fixing up our home (originally built in the 50’s) and are planning on repainting all of the rooms. We just removed the popcorn ceiling and are finally ready to paint the ceilings.

We know we want white ceilings to help brighten the space since it’s a fairly dark house with 7tf ceilings. However, there are so many types of whites. We are currently between SW pure white, SW ibis white, and SW high reflective white. My only concern with SW high reflective white is that it is too bright. I want a white paint that will brighten the home without making it feel sterile and taking away from its older charm. I am also open to other white suggestions if you have any!

In case wall color will help, we haven’t completely decided on a wall color, but we know we want a greige color (maybe SW gracious greige or SW city loft).
