how is the glass railing shaped ? or is it laid out in a straight line?

The railing is laid in a straight line, although on an angle to add interest and dimension.
Beyond the railing there is a small area of deck beyond the railing with river rocks placed in a trough area. The main deck area has concrete pavers that provide a stable and easy to care for surface.
Unfortunately, I don't have any images that really show that detail. The deck extensions themselves are curved in a wave like form, which is where the river rocks are placed beyond the straight tempered glass railings.

Thanks for that info guys ! One other question: How do you deal with the water being drained? I did not notice any downspouts or eaves through on this house...

They are there, just similar colors and strategic placement. Those are the things you don't want noticed on a home.
