All white kitchen question

I’ll have an all white kitchen in my new home including cabinets, countertops and walls. I’ll also have black lantern style chandeliers above the island. Would it be better to have matte black or brushed nickel faucets and cabinet pulls? Thank you for your input.

I’d pick brushed nickel for the faucets and pulls.
It is ok to mix metals, and you’re off to a good start: you’ve got no more than 2 different finishes that have enough contrast to provide interest. Use matte black for all your lighting (like a matte black pendant over the sink in addition to your lanterns) so that one function is one finish, and use the brushed nickel for all your cabinet pulls and faucets so those functions are one finish. Good luck with your project!

If you go with black hardware I would look into black appliances. A kitchen re-do was posted yesterday and that was how they did it. It's striking the comparison.

Sorry no black appliances and I agree no black hardware on white cabinets way too much contrast . I need to see the space to have any other ideas but all white kitchens cn be fun since the accessories can be changed all the time . I do like lantern lighting for an island and please make sure all the bulbs in all the lighting are LEDs 4000K

    I am gonna scream.

This is the most perfect recessed light...3000 k. 4 inch.

They appear smaller in the ceiling. They are clear, clean light and bright. Neither too warm, nor too cool.

Nobody needs 4000k but a damn surgeon. operating on your BRAIN !!!!. It is ugly, harsh, cold. It's bad in a kitchen, and worse everywhere else.

It is for brain surgery !

I think @JAN MOYER is responding to @Patricia Colwell Consulting (above) recommendation for 4000k lighting. I've seen where others do not recommend going as high as 4000k for the reasons Jan mentioned, but Patricia is pretty adament about her recommendation and has recommended 4000k over and over on this forum. I don't know who is right, but I just thought I would explain what I think is going on here.

I have a mostly white kitchen, except for gray countertops, Other elements include black matte hardware, a small black matte light fixture above the sink, a chrome faucet and hardwood floors. I'm happy with my black matte hardware, because I have a very small kitchen, so I don't find the hardware to be repeated too often or too heavy looking. The hardware I chose is small scale and I think it plays nicely with the softness of the gray countertop and the lighter hardwood floors. I could have easily gone with a black countertop and nickle hardware which many people do, but I didn't want to work on a black countertop or have the light absorbed by all that black, so I opted for the black hardware instead. When I was deciding hardware, I cut out fake knobs and pulls out of black cardboard in the exact size of the hardware and taped them to all my cabinets, so I knew exactly how the hardware would play in my kitchen before purchasing--I think it is really important to do a mock up of black hardware, because such a contrast will catch your eye. IMO, I don't think black hardware and white everything else would look as nice. I think I would go with the nickle as you suggested, but do a mock up and then you'll know for sure.

Realize your post had nothing to do with lighting : ) It was a reply to the OFTEN In this thread as well ) recommended 4000k attempt at daylight 24/7 which is a fail, and simply leads one to an ...........operating room lol

Do you have a picture of your kitchen? I went with matte black pulls and faucet. I am now realizing that the matte black pulls look to protruding and makes me feel like I am in my parents black and white kitchen from the 90s.

I was thinking brushed nickel and matte black faucet, I just cant find any pictures to see what it looks like.
