What would you do?

Thanks for your help with the entry way. This one is for the living room. Which way would you put the tv? Please also consider we will have a large u-shaped sectional? My initial idea was to have it against the wall with the cutout. Thoughts?

Three of the same pictures, no dimensions, and no indication of the size of the U Shaped sectional. How about supplying the minimal info and pics of the other walls to answer your question?

Hey Bev. Sorry. I wish I could. We haven’t moved into the space yet and the sectional is in storage. Sorry that I did not include that in the initial post. Attaching pics of the other walls that I have.

I also didn’t realize I chose 3 of the same pictures. Sorry

Ahhh interesting. You chose to have the tv on the other wall. Also noticing the choice of artwork, as I wasn’t sure what to do if the tv wouldn’t go on that wall. Where the large round art is, would a large plant in a vase also look ok there or no?

And we plan to paint the whole living room and dining room a light gray. Have an aqua, gray and white rug and some aqua accents. The sectional will have a light gray cover on it.

If you reverse the position, how do you walk in the door & walk through the room?

You’re so right. I definitely didn’t see it like this. This is helpful

a Very to me, soft aqua paint sounds better than gray. & No to the flower vase.

Sectional? You can place chairs in a location that doesn't have walls, but I'm not sure your room can logically support a sectional. What is the size?

That was my concern. I wish I could give you dimensions but it’s large. Three pieces including a chaise. It’s U shaped when all put together. I’m wondering if I maybe will have to place one of the pieces elsewhere like the basement if it can’t all fit.

Even it it doesn't ultimately fit, don't get rid of anything yet! People are waiting close to a year to get a sofa delivered! Move in with what you have and then figure out what you need to change.

Just posting an update. We lost the house above. Seller backed out. However we are scheduled to close on another one in 10 days. Thus far I only have one potential design challenge and it’s the master bathroom. The sink is new but I can’t figure out what to do with the rest of the room around it. Thinking the owner will probably take the above toilet storage when they leave. Thoughts? Ideas? I know I will be replacing the mirror with a gold one but what colors do you think may look nice in this room especially with all the bronze? Thanks.

We think a sectional might be too big for this space. Is there anyway you can do a sofa with two chairs? That might work a whole lot better.

Hey Margery. I’m not sure how to delete posts on Houzz. But we ended up not getting this home. I appreciate you so much for your help and input

I would choose a nature theme suggested by the floor covering and the green vanity top. If the current owners don’t leave the cabinet, canvas art that gives a sense of depth would help the room feel larger. If the shower doesn’t have a door, I would find a curtain that brings in the green sink color. If the towel ring were placed immediately to the left of the sink, the large wall could be used for a full length mirror, which will also help the room feel larger. Since it is a master bath, the bedroom should share the same color palette. Do you plan to use existing bed covers that would make this nature theme look out of place?

So they did leave us the cabinet. I can definitely move the towel ring over and lower the mirror. Since I posted this I now have green rugs there and green towels. Shower has a glass door.

Bedroom is navy, white and brown with natural wood. And plants.
