It’s a little ornate for an otherwise casual and home-y feel you have going on in that room, and I think the ceiling light really accentuates that. It matches well, it’s just the style of the frame.

I would try to subdue the color a little. If your crafty at all I would try to soften it up with paint and water. Or I once used min wax on a frame and made it much more mellow. Good luck
