Where are you located?

If you are in a super super cold zone maybe they will be ok. I don’t have much experience with that (I don’t have any)

How far apart are they in that pot? I have planted Austins here in groups of 3 plants 2 feet apart and they they make a huge bush within a season or two which requires heavy pruning 2 times a year. Honestly they will be ok for a year or two but not long term unless you are in a zone where the cold kills them to the ground every year.

I'd replant them to individual pots asap. I have 2 Sharifa Asmas who are fine in each of their 15 gallon pots for many years (3 feet tall), my Evelyn got monster HUGE, and Abraham Darby is okay in his 15 gallon pot, but he'd probably be happier in a bigger pot.

Idk what zone you're in but I'm in a cold zone and my Munstead Wood, which is a smaller Austin, died back each year and even then would definitely be way too cramped in this situation. These are just too close.

The picture appears to be indoors. Is that the case? You know, I’m sure, that these are hardy outdoor plants which are not going to survive inside.

I made exactly the same mistake as you last year, planting two Austins in the same trough.

It looked cute for a couple of months, but as they grew it became very obvious that it wasn't going to work.

I completely agree with @gardengal48 (PNW Z8/9) , repot them into separate pots, the sooner the better before their roots get tangled together.

thanks everyone for answering my question and helping me . I will repot them asap. they would be normally in balcony but its snowing here so i brought them inside for safety :)

Anything smaller than a half wine barrel is going to be too small to sustain a single Austin rose for more than a couple of years.

They need to be outdoors. They‘re fully hardy shrubs and are currently dormant. For them safety is outside. Inside they will suffer.

@Cute Pofi is that their permanent home? if yes, that might be a little small. when i first get ny bareroot roses I sometimes plant two in a pot to allow them to come Out of dormancy and get a little bigger. I find the pot makes them bigger faster. With that said, maybe remove the middle one to give them some space? Target has some great affordable plastic pots that are very nice size

On which picture? first one is St swithum? Last one is desdemona ans either bathsheba or abe Darby in the background. i do have Sharifa Asma, byt she went straight in the ground so she didnt really perform well on her first year

@ceresMer Zone 7a NJ omg they are so beautiful what are you doing to keep them florious? how often you water your potted roses? my earlier ones died due to overwatering
