We have just purchased a new home in a neighborhood where all of the houses have vinyl siding. Some have brick on the front and vinyl on all other sides.
This won't be a 'forever' home, so any upgrades we make, we hope for a good ROI when selling.
In a neighborhood like this, can we expect 70% or more ROI if we upgrade our siding to something other than vinyl?
I know the common ROI on a siding upgrade is 70-80%. But I'd also like to avoid being that 'over-imrpoved' house that can't get a return on it's upgrades.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
