mixing metals in master bath

I just read everything you wrote about mixing metals in a bathroom, but am still stuck. The main metal in my bath are polished chrome fixtures in the shower, bath, sink fixtures, and sconces. I would like to bring in some brass (or gold) to warm up the room and add some interest. Could I use a brass mirror with brass knobs on my vanities? Afraid that it will look funny - should the mirror and sconces be the same metal? Please keep in mind that the vanity countertops will be similar to the shower tiles with that warm gold veining running throughout. HELP!!
