I have BM Simply White...on multiple surfaces. For another project, I asked SW match it, and the manager said that their programmed match to simply white isn't exact. This store had the actual Simply White BM sample painted board hanging on the wall...they had their computer read it based on what paint I chose to buy...and it really is the same color. But only because I didn't use their formula for it, but an actual color match. It can be done :)

Ps. Our painter said that sw paint quality isn't what it was a few years ago...he said that paying for BM paint is well worth it for better coverage.

High Reflective White SW is close. Check Pure White SW as well.

Pure White is more greyed & High Reflective White is lighter & more neutral by comparison.

Snowbound looks very similar in our house, a little "whiter" or Simply White a little "yellower" but it's VERY subtle. Alabaster is noticeably greige-ier. We have Simply White walls everywhere except bathrooms in Snowbound, and Alabaster cabinets in the kitchen. It is very clear that the Alabaster is different than the Simply White.

Your location is probably different, but my SW store (central Wisconsin) hasn't had Duration Satin paint available for the past seven weeks. Also no ceiling paint available for longer than that. Just saying, check what their stock is before purchasing, so if you run short, you'll be able to get what you need to finish the job. (The Lowe's Sherwin William's line is not the same.) Good luck on your project.

Kira, we went through this late last year with SW not having sample cans. In our case it was for the exterior. We were able to get a couple sample cans from Lowe’s. I was concerned, so I also ordered the same color swatches from samplize.com. They matched the sample cans from Lowe’s exactly. We just had some interior work done, and the sample cans from Lowe’s were again very helpful.

Just saying… I am building a new home. My trim is Simply White satin and my walls are BM Simply White matte. Well when my painters painted the walls, they turned up Mint Green. I went to BM and asked why and they told me to take a pay of the formula. Well, when I got to the house & took the picture, I realized they used SW. it’s in our contract for BM, so this is going to be interesting
