My initial thought is a ducted split system has more advantages compared to ductless mini splits in a new build of this size.

Well I'm waiting for HVAC guy for price on the mini's but I PROB will go with STANDARD HVAC those mini are 1300 to 1500 dollars for the head unit & each room gets its own CONTROL so at least 6 CONTROLS MIGHT BE 3 TO 4 THOUSAND WITH DUCTLESS

I take it you don't have natural gas at your location. Go with an air-to-air ducted heatpump system. In our climate its usually best to have a separate system for downstairs and upstairs in a house that size. Basement shouldn't need much heat or cooling.
