Consider a subtle two tone scheme. Add some type of handrail to the stairs.

The house is a jumble of styles and lines, which you should try to minimize by removing the faux timbers. Smooth out the surfaces where timbers were, and paint the entire house without the ridiculous timbers. Note the landscaping in the After photo. Go in that direction with a proper walkway and better steps.

Dark gray with the red brick is a very modern palette. Note dark garage doors to direct the eye to house entrance not garage.

Please take a closeup of roof color, which is hard to see and must be taken into account. If it's a cocoa brown, then gray siding won't be right but something warmer would work. Need more visual information.

the roof is brown (very similar to that in the last photo housegal200 posted) and yes, warmer tones would be ideal.

i do love the dark colors (especially blue) against the red brick, but im just not sure about how to work the white windows in (would think they would appear odd- or smaller than what they actually are) -any thoughts on how to balance it?
