I would install one rod over each window ( 3" higher than trim), choose one panel of fabric for each and stack back to the left of each window.

@Celery. Visualization, Rendering images my real problem is the one window is so close to the wall and the other isn't. Where so I stack the curtains? do I use one panel? The sun comes in that room and they need to be able to close. Just stuck.

I would just hang outside mounted shades if you're keeping the roller shades.

With that window and door butted up to each other, I think shades are your best bet. If you want to soften the room, maybe you can drape the bed.

I would have to get a rod on that window some way and have the drapes open to the left or never open. It's a bedroom after all. This is where a DIYer comes in soo handy. Commercial enterprises don't always sell the type of rod one needs!! I know you can purchase a metal rope type contraption that would connect to the right wall and then one could get a bracket for the left... How about a rod cup on the right wall...there's a way....ya just gotta think out of the box a bit and be glad it's a bedroom where no one else will ever know!!!
