CALACATTA LAZO or NUVO?

I just had my kitchen cabinets painted SW Agreeable Gray and decided to go ahead and replace the green granite countertops with white quartz. I found a black and white kitchen photo which is my inspiration... (I may one day painting it black just like in that pic), and I love the look! I think they used Calacatta Nuvo. My designer suggested Calacatta Laza, which has the gray veins as well as soft greigy brown veins, which reads more natural-looking to me. Which do you all recommend???

The open kitchen overlooks a gray and natural/white living room and floors are beige tiles (for now). I'm leveling the island with one of the Calacatta's and using Pure White for the countertops in the background cabinetry countertops to pop the unique patterns of the large 11' island. Here are the pics:

What do you think? Nuvo or Laza?

I hate plastic quartz for kitchen counters and I never advise my client ot use it Why not look a real stone there are so many awesome white granites and other choices. . FYI black cabinets suck light like crazy so if that is the plan the more LED 4000K lighting you do the better Please do all one level counters that raised bar is a dated look and hides nothing BTW unless all your guest are under 36" tall and tied up drapes are barely okay in a dorm room.

Are your current floors staying? If they are, I think you need to rethink choices as you floors read quite warm to me and your counter/cabinets clash with with floors.

The floors will be going next. I’m wanting the house to read transitional greiges & greys with gold, white, and black accents. Floors will be white oak or greige warm wood tones.

I'm in love with Calacatta Mirragio Gold by MSI....if you choose to keep things more on the warm side. C. Laza is pretty if you go with more gray color. I have not seen the Nuvo. Which brand is it?
