Create a wooden pelmet and fix matching coving to it, that way you can conceal curtain fixings.

We’ve recently had a French style curtain pole made for our room, albeit straight rather than on a bay. But worth talking to someone about options. The main thing for us was not wanting any support in the middle, and we have achieved that. We went to Smithy Ironworks and have a lovely black pole which doesn’t come too far out from the window frame. There are other places that make poles for bay windows. Just a thought, would go nicely with your fireplace.

Another option is to add the 'bottom up' blinds as they tuck away discretely but you can open them from the bottom of the window to half way up so you would still see that gorgeous stained glass in the daytime but have some privacy too?

Hi Anna, we ended up with a faux curtain pole which is really a concealed track - i think it’s Silent Gliss 1080, we ordered and had it measured through a local shop. I like it although I wish i had chosen a darker colour. as you can see you can still see some brackets but it was the only thing i could find that suited our window
