I am still here.

Seeing my name in Lois’ post made me realize I have not been here for a bit. But being away over Easter, having two sets of visitors over the past month, along with all the appts. etc. that we all seem to have, meant not a lot of sewing time.

I did have all the blocks for a scrappy laid out on my design floor. So today while a load of visitor sheets and towels was in the washer, I picked them up and now I have the centre sewn together. Next comes borders, but first I have to clean off my table of all the bits and pieces collected in the making.

hopefully not too long before that gets done.

Theresa, it's so good to hear from you. I'm glad you are finally able to get back to quilting. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Welcome back.

Table cleared off, first borders on. and now to the two patch, four patch combos. I have made enough of those units for four quilts. Aaargh! anyway, it is coming but slowly. I am in the midst of blood work, x-rays and stress tests. So it is a slow go. A little each day.

Sounds like you have alot on your plate right now Theresa. Hope piecing helps you de-stress some.

The top is finished and quilted, the binding is ready. so a finish is in sight. maybe this week.
