New build. Electrician was to contact us to discuss under cabinet lighting and cost. Never contacted us. Electrician took it upon himself to install what he wanted. Reciprocal sawed thru two new cabinets. 1) He’s trying to charge us $700 for 2 yards of LED tape/ strip lighting that we never discussed much less approved at that amount. 2) He’s hacked up two of my cabinets. I have NEVER seen an installation of lights in this manner. Am I within my rights to demand GC replace my cabinets and drop the charges?
